One Picture Puzzle Piece Response:
Lyin' on the sidewalk, The speaker in this poem is a picture puzzle piece
One picture puzzle piece This poems occasion is a walk on the side walk
Soakin' in the rain This is in the spring and summer on a rainy day
It might be a button of blue This is outside in a city on land
On the coat of the woman The purpose is that you should always look carefully wherever you go
Who lived in a shoe. The theme is always have an open mind and look carefully
It might be a magical bean, The tone is happy because of all the possibilities, but said because someone can't finish there puzzle
Or a fold in the red This poem has visual imagery because you can see all the examples
Velvet robe of a queen. There is personification because a puzzle piece can't be all these things
It might be the one little bite The down side is that it doesn't rhythm, but it is a very catchy and fun poem
Of the apple her stepmother
Gave to Snow White.
It might be the veil of a bride
Or a bottle with some evil genie inside.
It might be a small tuft of hair
On the big bouncy belly
Of Bobo the Bear.
It might be a bit of the cloak
Of the Witch of the West
As she melted to smoke.
It might be a shadowy trace
Of a tear that runs down an angel's face.
Nothing has more possibilities
Than one old wet picture puzzle piece.
